Nifty at 20,200 Benchmark, will it Survive Or Boost Again

Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: The benchmark equity indices have opened in green amidst positive global cues. The NSE Nifty 50 opened at 20,156.45, up 53 points, while the BSE Sensex at 67,659.91, up 140.91 points.

The broad indices traded largely in green. The Bank Nifty opened higher by over 100 points. The other sector indices traded broadly in green.

1. Closing Bell: Nifty ends just short of 20,200 after hitting fresh intra-day highs, Sensex zooms above 67,900 intra-day It's a day of fresh milestones on Dalal Street. The Sensex hit a fresh intra-day and 52-week high of 67,927 before closing at 67,838, up 300 points. The Nifty closed at 20,192 after climbing up above 20,200 intra-day. The broader markets too ended in the positive zone and the market breadth was evenly poised.
2. The party continued across sectoral indices too. The Nifty Auto Index ended up 1.5% while tech added 1% plus gains.
3. Top Gainers Bajaj Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero MotoCorp, Grasim Industires and Eicher Motors were among the top gainers on the NSE Nifty 50 during the intraday trade on Friday.
4. Active stocks Vodafone Idea, JP Power, Yes Bank, UCO Bank, and RattanIndia Power were among the most active stocks on the NSE during the intraday trade on Friday.
5. Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders surges The stock price of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders surged over 6% to 2,231.95 during the intraday trade on Friday.
6. Hero MotoCorp soars The stock price of Hero MotoCorp surged over 2% during the intraday trade on Friday.
7. Realty stocks tumble The Nifty Realty index tumbled 0.90% during the intraday trade on Friday. Sobha and Prestige Estates were the top losers, with respective losses of 2.38% and 1.83%. DLF, Godrej Properties, Macrotech Developers, and Indiabulls Real Estate were the other laggards with losses of over 1%.
8. Bajaj Auto surges The share price of Bajaj Auto surged over 5% to a new all-time high of Rs 4,995.10 during the intraday trade on Friday.
9. Auto stocks shine The Nifty Auto index surged by over 1% during intraday trading on Friday. The gains were led by Bajaj Auto at 4.86% and Hero MotoCorp at 2.32%. Tube Investments of India, Tata Motors, and Ashok Leyland were the other leading gainers, each with gains of over 1%.
10. Nifty, Sensex hit at all time high Benchmark indices hit new all-time highs during the early trade on Friday. The Nifty 50 hit a new all-time high of 20,173.15, while the BSE Sensex also joined the rally and hit a fresh all-time high of 67,774.46.
